Career Focus

A wage subsidy program for new printing industry employees

Career Focus provides wage-subsidy funding for the printing and graphic communications sector to hire post-secondary graduates.

Delivered by CPISC, the Career Focus program may subsidize up to one third of a new employee’s wage for up to one year of employment.

Career Focus can give employers the opportunity to develop the skills of industry newcomers through program agreed learning plans based on the CPISC national skill standards, helping new employees become multi-skilled and adaptable workers.

Applications for the CPISC Career Focus program are being accepted now for an April 1st start date and will be assessed on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
